Notes for Rank Tracker by Link Assistant, RankMath Sitemap Settings, Google Search Console


RANK TRACKER NOTES: DECEMBER 27

Completed competition analysis for "Singapore Pr Application" both organic and paid ads competition.

Insert into Rank Tracker (my own domain & top 10 competition address). Make sure only track Singapore SE engines only (No Yahoo/Bing).  Adjust the Table columns (check/uncheck) to see what I want to view only!

 * Schedule Daily Rank Tracking process at 4PM everyday! (Click on Rank Tracker => Preferences => Scheduler (insert projects and set timer)
RankMath Settings:

 * FORGOTTEN TASK: COPY "Sitemap url" generated by RankMath and insert into Google Search Console.

Login to dashboard > Rank Math > Sitemap Settings. Copy the link below (yellow highlighter)

When sitemaps are enabled, your sitemap index can be found here: https://yourdomain.com/sitemap_index.xml 


 Google Search Console:

Since Rank Tracker requires us to add keywords to track keyword position, we login to GSC to retrieve the full keywords (either choose queries from past 3 months/last 7 days). Reason: Convenient and fast (No need to think deep & wasting time)

 * See RankMath Settings above. Need to paste the generated SiteMap URL into SiteMap section of GSC.


How to Insert Generated SiteMap Url into GSC:

* Login to GSC => SiteMaps => Click on Add Sitemap and then press the Submit button.

What To Do First When Embarking on First SEO Project?
