Important Notes About Google Analytics (New Setup on New Domain)

* Before beginning to build backlinks, make sure the following in setup correctly:

1) Sign up for Google Analytics account using the email address associated with Google Ads (so future Ads data can be seen inside Google Analytics dashboard). Stay congruent, stay relevant.

2) Google Search Console also assigned to same Google Analytics account. Actually, you can assign who have "Owner" or "Full" permission.  This topic require more in depth study since we can play around the permission at Account level, Property level or View level.

3) Interesting to know that we can link same Google Ads email account with Google Analytics account (as mentioned in point number 1 above).

Interesting question to ponder is:
- Since I already have Google Analytics account tracking existing website data using my personal official email address (tzehua@wlp.com.sg), can I track existing or past Google Ads data if I link the Google Ads account email address (wlpmarketing.36) to the same email address (wlpmarketing.36) associated with new Google Analytics account?

Answer: Need to try to link Google Ads and Google Analytics email account together and see if past Google Ads data back in December 2019 till February 2010 data can be retrieved. If can update/obtain data, that means using tzehua@wlp.com.sg will not effect the original data. SO GO TRY AND SEE YOURSELF FIRST INSTEAD OF ASSUMING!

4) Setup Exclude internal ip (your own ip address) inside Google Analytics. Instructions available below:

=> Link to study further (filter one ip address or filter multiple ip address (subnet method)

(Notice this filter can be done only at either Account level or View level

1) Setting > Account > All Filters    or  2) Setting > View > Filters
